FleetManager Update: Important Migration Information & Huge Thanks!

Published: 2025-05-18 15:06 UTC by ZaviiNet

Greetings Commanders! A massive thank you to everyone who has signed up and put FleetManager through its paces during this initial testing phase. Your feedback and participation have been invaluable in helping us identify areas for improvement and squash those pesky Thargoid-sized bugs! We're excited to announce that due to the fantastic uptake and to pave the way for future expansion, FleetManager is currently in the process of migrating to a more powerful hosting environment. This move is crucial to ensure we can continue to develop and roll out even more useful tools to help you manage your fleets and navigate the galaxy. Please be aware: While we're striving for a seamless transition, there's a small possibility of minor rollbacks or some recently created accounts potentially being affected during this migration. We've already successfully moved the core database, and this final step involves transitioning the application hosting itself. Remember, FleetManager is still officially in a BETA release. This means that while we're working hard to provide a stable and reliable experience, occasional hiccups like this are a part of the development process as we scale up. We anticipate this migration will be completed shortly, and the new, more robust platform will allow us to push out those exciting new features we have planned for you all. Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We're committed to making FleetManager an indispensable tool for every Elite Dangerous pilot. Fly safe, Commanders! The FleetManager Development Team

FRONTIER EXPANSION: 12TH FLEET LAYS KEEL FOR ABELL CITY IN HERCULIS SECTOR JS-T B3-2

Published: 2025-05-14 23:25 UTC by ZaviiNet

Reports filtering in from the frontier confirm a significant strategic move by the independent 12th Fleet. In the relatively uncharted reaches of Herculis Sector JS-T B3-2, the fleet has initiated construction on a major starport facility, provisionally designated 'Abell City'. This ambitious project, aiming to establish a full Coriolis-type starport, necessitates a colossal influx of materials, prompting the 12th Fleet to issue a widespread appeal to independent Commanders across the bubble and beyond. The construction of a Coriolis starport represents a colossal undertaking, demanding resources on a scale that stretches even seasoned fleet logistics. Abell City, positioned strategically within Herculis Sector JS-T B3-2, is envisioned as a vital operational nexus and potential trade hub, significantly enhancing the fleet's presence and capabilities in this sector. To achieve this ambitious goal, the 12th Fleet is currently in dire need of raw materials and components to complete the foundational phases and begin structural assembly. Independent Commanders with cargo space are urgently requested to contribute by transporting essential commodities such as metals, alloys, polymers, semiconductors, and various structural components to the designated build site. Speaking from the provisional staging area, Commander Anya Sharma, Project Liaison for Abell City, commented, "This is more than just building a station; it's building a future foothold. The scale requires a collective effort. We know independent Commanders are the lifeblood of the galaxy's supply lines, and their contribution to Abell City is absolutely critical to turning this vision into reality. Every tonne delivered brings us closer to completion." Commanders interested in contributing to the birth of Abell City and supporting the 12th Fleet's expansion are advised to consult the designated 12th Fleet public communication channels or connect with fleet representatives operating in the Herculis Sector JS-T B3-2 system. Detailed lists of priority commodities, current demand levels, and precise delivery vectors will be provided through these channels. The successful and timely completion of Abell City relies heavily on the collaborative spirit of the independent piloting community. Your cargo holds can forge the steel and shape the future of this new frontier outpost.

Ambitious Construction Project Mallett Terminus Calls for Commander Support

Published: 2025-05-11 00:23 UTC by ZaviiNet

HERCULIS SECTOR JS-T B3-2 – A significant planetary construction initiative, designated Mallett Terminus, is underway in the Herculis Sector JS-T b3-2 system, spearheaded by elements associated with the 12th Fleet. Project coordinators have issued a broad appeal to independent Commanders for critical resource contributions, highlighting the substantial material requirements for the fledgling outpost. Current logistical reports indicate that Mallett Terminus requires an estimated 210,000 tonnes of various construction materials to achieve its initial operational phase. Sources within the 12th Fleet have confirmed this is a priority undertaking for their members, framing it as a significant fleet task aimed at establishing a new strategic foothold or resource hub in the region. While details on the ultimate purpose of Mallett Terminus remain somewhat guarded, the scale of the resource demand suggests a facility of considerable scope. Appeals are being made for shipments of common construction commodities, including but not limited to industrial metals, polymers, and necessary hardware components. A spokesperson for the 12th Fleet, reached via comms buoy, stated, The establishment of Mallett Terminus represents a significant investment in the future of our operations and presence in the Herculis Sector. We are calling upon all able Commanders, whether directly affiliated or simply wishing to contribute to a vital new piece of infrastructure, to deliver the necessary resources. Every tonne counts towards bringing this station online. Commanders willing to assist in this substantial construction effort are advised to consult local 12th Fleet channels or trusted fleet representatives for specific delivery protocols and priority material lists for Mallett Terminus in the Herculis Sector JS-T b3-2 system. The successful and timely completion of this project hinges on a collective effort from the wider galactic community.

12th Fleet Enhances Operational Data Stream with New EDMC Protocol

Published: 2025-05-10 22:16 UTC by ZaviiNet

The independent pilots' collective known as the 12th Fleet has today announced the deployment of a new proprietary enhancement for the widely utilized Elite Dangerous Market Connector (EDMC) application. Sources within the Fleet indicate this updated plugin is designed to ensure the precise and timely transmission of crucial operational data directly to their internal command network. Commanders aligned with or operating alongside the 12th Fleet will reportedly benefit from what a Fleet spokesperson described as "unprecedented accuracy in telemetry and logistical information." This development is expected to significantly streamline coordinated efforts, from trade and exploration ventures to more complex strategic maneuvers within contested or developing systems. While the technical specifics remain closely guarded, the core function of the new plugin is to refine the data packets sent from individual Commander vessels, eliminating potential discrepancies and ensuring the Fleet's central systems receive unaltered, real-time information. This initiative is seen by observers as a move by the 12th Fleet to further solidify its operational efficiency and responsiveness across its diverse activities in the galaxy. A representative for the 12th Fleet, speaking from their headquarters in the 12 Lambda Coronae Borealis system, stated, "In an ever-changing galaxy, accurate and swift data is paramount. This new EDMC protocol ensures every Commander contributing to the 12th Fleet's objectives can do so with the confidence that their input is being correctly relayed, bolstering our collective strength and coordination. It's about ensuring every piece of the puzzle fits perfectly." The plugin is being made available to all affiliated Commanders and trusted allies. The 12th Fleet has provided the following secure access point for download: https://github.com/ZaviiNet/EDFM_Uploader/releases/download/v1.4.0/EDFM.Uploader.zip This development underscores the increasing reliance on sophisticated third-party tools by independent pilot groups to maintain a competitive edge and effectively manage their presence across the vastness of human-occupied space. Other factions are expected to monitor the efficacy of the 12th Fleet's new system closely.
